floralBlissVideoThose of you who follow this blog are pretty familiar with Louie Schwartzberg. He is an award-winning cinematographer, director and producer who captures breathtaking images that celebrate life – revealing connections, universal rhythms, patterns and beauty. So, for your delight and pleasure, below is another video from Mr. Schwartzberg entitled Floral Bliss, capturing the magnificence, elegance and perfection of flowers. It’s truly spectacular!

Louie Schwartzberg would certainly be on my list of people I’d love to meet someday. Actually, more than just meet him, I’d love to spend a few days with him while he is out in the wild working his magic with his lens.

Everyday in our work we partner with nature, and quite honestly, it’s easy to forget the magnificence that nature shares with us. In our work, we are inclined to look at an apple and sometimes think, “it’s not exactly the right size; it could have more color; or its shape could be a little more perfect for stacking.” Meanwhile, nature has offered us this amazing gift, creating something that both sustains us and is a joy to eat. It’s a gift, and we often miss that about nature, because while she is very generous with her offerings, she also demands that we pay attention.

Louie Schwartzberg’s work is a constant reminder of the wonder, the beauty, and the magnificence of nature. Through his eyes, there is always something of significance happening. Every moment is both a miracle and a blessing as nature does her very exquisite and yet very simple dance. Something big is always going on. Our challenge is to notice. Enjoy the video.
