The use of GMOs (genetically modified organisms) are currently one of the most controversial practices within our agricultural system. From the farming practices to labeling, there are far too many issues and unanswered questions surrounding GMOs. Our latest video goes beyond the passion and enthusiasm that the issue elicits, and takes a look at the factual data we have about genetic modification and how it’s impacting our food supply.

We take a closer look at what exactly genetic modification is, and how it differs from traditional breeding; as well as debunking the main talking points that proponents of GMOs like to echo. These arguments include increased crop yields (ability to feed the world) and a reduction in the use of insecticides and pesticides. But as we know, it’s not as simple and clean an issue as proponents of GMOs like to make it sound. There are many questions and concerns surrounding the process of genetic modification and this 8-minute video examines these issues in a way that is both easy to understand, and easy for you in turn, to pass along to your customers.

Thanks for taking the time to watch this video. I hope it’s helpful.
