Meat Category Director

 

 

 

It may read like the opening line of a novel, but I am the son of an Amish farmer and butcher. I learned the meat cutting trade at an early age from my father spending time in our family operated butcher shop. I spent many years operating the meat, seafood and deli departments for a large chain of natural food stores.  Along the way I also did a number of cooking shows in the Denver Market including a long stint on a show called Good Afternoon Colorado. Since early 2006 I have been the Meat Category Director with Albert’s Organics. I currently live on a small farm in Colorado, where I raise Belgian horses, along with several different breeds of Heritage Chickens. I love food and have found that the creativity and innovation of working with and preparing food has been one of my life-long passions.
